Designed to conquer the acoustic challenges of modern living spaces, the Founder 40B combines advanced waveguiding, driver isolation, and cabinet bracing to deliver breathtaking spatial imaging, rich texture, and surprising bass extension down to 41Hz.

Cutting-Edge Acoustic Engineering:

AL-MAC™ Ceramic Dome Tweeter: Combines Aluminum, Magnesium, and Ceramic materials to achieve exceptional stiffness, ultra-low mass, and natural anti-resonance properties. Paired with Paradigm’s proprietary Oblate Spheroid Waveguide (OSW™) and metal Perforated Phase-Aligning (PPA™) Lens, output is focused directly into the listening area.

AL-MAG™ Mid/Bass Driver: The 6” ultra-high-excursion driver utilizes a 1.5” high-temp multi-layered voice coil and Gen3 ART™ Surround to reproduce human vocals and acoustic instruments with breathtaking speed, realism, and dynamic power.

SHOCK-MOUNT™ Isolation System: The mid/bass driver is mechanically decoupled from the cabinet enclosure via a specialized shock-mount hardware system, preventing motor vibrations from exciting cabinet walls.

Faceted Cabinet & Cascade Fusion Bracing: The beautifully angled cabinet geometry works alongside internal structural bracing to eliminate internal standing waves and prevent cabinet coloration.
