AudioQuest NRG-X3 employs 16 AWG Semi-Solid Concentric Long-Grain Copper (LGC) Conductors, keeping strands tightly packed in fixed relative positions. Combined with the reduced grain boundaries of LGC copper, it delivers noticeably smoother, clearer, and more dynamic audio.

Direction-Controlled Conductors for Quiet Backgrounds
AC power lines act as antennas for airborne Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). NRG-X3 incorporates AudioQuest’s Direction-Controlled Conductors. Every conductor is listener-tested for metal grain directionality to ensure induced RF noise is systematically drained away from vulnerable audio circuits, preventing modulation of the system's ground reference.

Robust 15A Power Delivery & Cold-Welded C13 Termination
With a heavy-duty 16 AWG gauge capable of handling 15 Amps, NRG-X3 provides robust power delivery for source components (DACs, streamers) as well as integrated amplifiers, active subwoofers, and AV receivers. Featuring Cold-Welded Terminations to eliminate solder-induced distortion, NRG-X3 is an essential, high-value power upgrade for any 3-pin IEC C13 component.
