AudioQuest NRG-X2 uses 17 AWG Semi-Solid Concentric Long-Grain Copper (LGC) Conductors, where strands are packed tightly and never change position. Combined with high-purity LGC metal, this structure drastically reduces distortion and delivers smoother, clearer, and more dynamic sound.

Direction-Controlled Conductors for Quiet Backgrounds
AC power lines act as antennas for airborne Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). NRG-X2 incorporates AudioQuest’s Direction-Controlled Conductors. Every conductor is listener-tested for metal grain directionality to ensure induced RF noise is systematically drained away from vulnerable audio circuits, preventing modulation of the system's ground reference and uncovering delicate musical details.

Cold-Welded Terminations & Wide Compatibility
NRG-X2 connections feature Cold-Welded Terminations, using high pressure instead of heat and solder to join the conductor and plug. This eliminates solder-induced resistance and sonic coloration. Fitted with a standard 2-pole C7 (figure-8) plug, NRG-X2 is an exceptional, cost-effective power upgrade for DACs, powered desktop speakers, audio streamers, TV displays, soundbars, and gaming consoles (PS5/Xbox).
