Design and Build
The Audiolab 9000Q preamplifier follows the smart aesthetic of the 9000
series, featuring a solid build and impeccable finish.
Designed by Jan Ertner, it is an enhanced, dedicated preamplifier, more than
just a trimmed-down version of the 9000A.
Digital and Analog Audio Performance
Employs the ES9038PRO DAC chip, enhancing the dynamic range and
reducing distortion for high-resolution digital audio.
Features a new single stage Class-A MM Phono circuit.
Uses a custom-specified transformer for better current delivery and
controlled performance.
Tone Controls and Inputs
Incorporates new tone controls for treble and bass adjustment, with a range
of +/-6dB in 2dB steps which can be individually assigned to each input
source.
Accommodates a wide range of inputs: 3 x line-level AUX, balanced XLR
stereo pair, dedicated phono input, 2 x COAX, 2 x Optical, Bluetooth, and PC
USB input.
Provides a fixed level AUX output and three variable Pre outputs (2 x RCA, 1
x XLR) that can be used simultaneously without performance loss.
Special Features and User Interface
Source configuration options include "XLR Direct" and "AV Direct" for
improved performance and flexibility.
Dedicated headphone amplifier section with current-feedback circuitry for
dynamic and detailed performance.
4.3” full-colour TFT display offers access to settings, functions, and
information like level, input, file format, and signal information.
Display can show a VU meter in 'analogue' or 'digital' form and can be
dimmed or turned off.
